 The “Walled Garden” quilt is one of my favorites! 
It is 80 ½” x 96 ½”, made with scraps of pink, dk green, brown, and burgundy prints. I designed it for my book called “Perfect-Fit, Pieced Borders“.  Since that release it’s also appeared in a few other places, such as American Patchwork & Quilting (chosen for the COVER!!!)!,  “Quilt Lovers Favorites”  vol. 11 from Better Homes and Gardens, and “The Big Book of Scrappy Quilts” from Martingale, and then of course it appears regularly on my bed!! “Walled Garden” is the most frequently chosen classes as I travel to teach and lecture at guilds!  I love it too as there are some techniques to teach, and of course who doesn’t LOVE an opportunity to make a scrappy quilt from their stash?

Supply List: Materials 
* The following colors are suggested. Could use another color combination.
½ yd each of 20 assorted pink prints   
4 ½ yd total assorted dark green, brown, and burgundy prints
7/8 yd binding fabric
7 ½ yd backing fabric or scrappy
Batting 4” larger than backing if longarm quilted
Freezer Paper (there will be a lg roll at the class)
Regular sewing supplies: Scissors, pins, needles, sharp rotary blade, seam ripper, thread.
Sewing machine in good working order, bobbins wound, and bobbin area clean.
Rulers: 5”, 10-12” square, Long ruler.
Optional: Half-square triangle ruler.
